Insulators Local 23 became a chartered member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers on July 18, 1963. For over fifty years this organization has been dedicated to the dignity and equality of the worker. We have strived to provide our contractors with well-trained, productive employees.

HIGHLY SKILLED

By definition; A skilled worker is any worker who has special skill, training, knowledge, and (usually acquired) ability in their work. A skilled worker may have attended a college, university or technical school or a skilled worker may have learned their skills on the job.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

The officers and members of Insulators Local 23 and it's apprenticeship program believe that volunteerism is a vital component of strong communities. That's why we volunteer our skills to improve our parks, schools and non-profit organizations. We also hold an annual fundraiser for quality of life issues, such as Mesothelioma research. We are proud of our efforts to build vibrant communities and help those who need it most.
